Conflict
Conflict is one of the most important elements of a film. Conflict keeps things interesting and it can be found in several films and real life situations. In The Fifth Element, the conflict of the movie consists of a group of heroes, named Lilu and Dallas, who are desperately trying to stop a deranged man from collecting four sacred stones. In this case, the conflict of the film is man versus man. However, the sacred stones are needed to prevent the apocalypse from occurring which could also make the conflict man versus nature. Conflict can also be found in real life experiences. I remember that I had once bought a ticket to a school dance, but I had doubts of even going because I couldn't dance and I wasn't sure if any of my friends were going. It was also my first time going to a dance, so I didn't know what to expect. I guess you could say that this conflict was man versus self. Eventually, I decided to go, and I had a great time. This experience could be turned into an idea for a film, but it would be difficult, as it would require several extras.
